Rob Purdie

He is now working exclusively in the mid-market Hospitality and retail sectors bringing some unique and powerful initiatives to growing businesses who can make significant improvements in revenue, profit and costs by adopting these disciplines.

Nick Chudley


Nick is chairman and founder of Welcome Systems Ltd. For six years, he ran the family business, Highgate House Conference Centre in Northamptonshire and, having helped build it up from a run-down, deserted country house in 1964 to what is now a leading 80 room conference centre, Nick possesses a deep understanding of what it takes to build, nurture and grow a hospitality business. In 1984, Nick swapped rooms for code and developed one of the first property management systems to hit the market. Thus, Welcome was born.

John Jones


As Managing Director at Welcome Systems Ltd, John is responsible for the strategic direction and commercial success of one of the most exciting software development companies in the hospitality industry. John has a wealth of top-flight experience spanning several industries including recruitment and hotel management.

Before joining Welcome, John successfully transformed a failing conference centre and hotel into a profitable business by securing occupancy at 80% and raising turnover by 30%. There are few commercial or personnel challenges he is yet to encounter.

Mark Ellis


Mark has spent over fifteen years in the hospitality industry. Now Commercial & Product Director at Welcome Systems Ltd and owner of a fledgling content marketing business,  Mark’s passions range from technology to sales, marketing, productivity and business growth.

Having travelled countless miles meeting key stakeholders in hospitality businesses of all sizes, Mark has developed a deep understanding of what it takes to be successful in this wonderfully eclectic industry.
